Awesome place and booked in the suite with a terrace. Breakfast was awesome..... the vegetarian and salmon hot meal and also the raw meat ball and croissant is lovely. The people and location is also great.

Spent two nights in a superior king room with lots of space and a small balcony. Very comfortable bed, very good rain shower and lots of lovely details such as good coffee machine, nice shampoo, local beverages in the minibar and free hot water bottle brought to the room. Breakfast was included and was really good with a broad variety of items. We once used the gym and wellness area which is for a hotel extremely good equipped as they are cooperating with an health center next door. Shopping in the city center, going to restaurants and visiting some exhibitions, we did almost everything by foot as the hotel is quite central located. Staff was always friendly and helpful! I can highly recommend staying at Indigo Hotel as it will provide you a very comfortable time!

We stayed one night in this hotel and we especially enjoyed the spacious room with everything you want to find in a room. The staff at the reception was very nice and the location not so far from the center. You can park the car for €18 per night in the q park next door. The only thing that could have been a bit better was the breakfast (more choice in meat, no boiled eggs and salmon for instance. But definitely recommend this place.

I cannot believe that this hotel is part of the IHG Group. The trade show that we were due to attend was cancelled due to the German Government disallowing major events during the COVID pandemic. The IHG group stated that all bookings made up to 31 December 2020 can be cancelled without penalty. This hotel however refused to offer a refund or a credit for future use and stated in an email that they have to assert their own interests. They have then stopped responding to all emails sent and I have lost all money that was paid in November 2019 despite the group's policies. This is the worst hotel out of all accommodation booked on a 6 week vacation. Zero assistance, customer service or honouring of IHG policies.

+1
Stayed for one night. As Spire member I was upgraded to a better room. Room had a nice balcony and all what is needed. Parking is expensive, around €20 per day at public garage next to the hotel. Think hotel should have a better rate for guests. Also minibar did not have any price card so I assume it was complementary with the room upgrade, but after checking with the front desk it was actually at charge. But they didnt put a price card due to covid-19. If so, this needed to be mentioned at check in. This is at least deceptive if not ilegal so giving only 3 stars.

The hotel is in a quiet location, and you can walk through beautiful parks to the old town in about 25 minutes, making the hotel particularly suitable for travelers with dogs.
The design and interior are based on the obvious theme of fashion. A nice idea, but the color scheme is perhaps a little dated, or let's say it's a matter of taste.
Our suite was bright and spacious. Everything was clean, but the furniture was a bit worn here and there. In my opinion, the ambience was rather cold and not very cozy. In any case, the room scored points with comfortable beds, a high-quality bathroom and free coffee/tea station.
Nobody can probably do anything about the false fire alarm and evacuation at night, and of course safety always comes first. Nevertheless, a little reparation or compensation would have been nice, because our night's sleep was ruined.
It should be emphasized that the staff are very friendly throughout. Two-legged and four-legged friends feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again for a short trip, not least because of the good price/performance ratio.

I had a lovely stay here. As a Spire Elite member I was given a spacious room with comfy bed and big desk, and tons of windows casting great light into the room. The hotel is in a convenient location for me - a 10 minute walk to the Rhine and big park where I took a lovely walk after work. Breakfast was particularly good - quite a standard buffet but tasty and high quality. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I'll return.

After an enforced stopover in Düsseldorf due to bad weather cancelling flights, I needed a hotel relatively close to the airport and as an IHG member I chose this one. The best decision of the weekend!
Lovely spacious room, clean and well-equipped, staff were fantastic, food delicious.
I think I will make this my go-to hotel for future trips to the Düsseldorf region

Arriving with the Stadtbahn at VictoriaPlatz. I took the Fisherstrasse/Kaiserwerhterstrasse exit (stairs only!) Then it only takes 4 minutes walking to reach the Indigo.
Check in was very pleasant. Questions answered in a friendly manner.
I had booked a superior room and was assigned room 422. Spacious and comfortable with all one needs. Enough hangers, bathrobes and wardrobe space. The '22' numbered rooms come with a small balcony and are at the back of the property with garden view.
Breakfast was a pleasant affair. Nice selection of the usual items even weihnachts stollen one morning. (bio)Eggs can be ordered any way one desires. Very friendly staff.
Housekeeping did a fine job. Please do not forget to always leave a little something on your pillow for them!
If one word applies to this hotel it is friendliness. They also get things done in a professional way.
I certainly would recommend this hotel.

Staying at Hotel Indigo Düsseldorf for a short City-Trip and Long-Weekend Holiday. Really my first visit in Düsseldorf, we reserved 2 rooms with a special request to have the rooms on the same floor. Additionally, we reserved deluxe rooms with balcony.
Well, the rooms we got had not been on the same floor, one room was "downgraded" without compensation because we used IDG points to get the room.
Overall, both rooms had issues with cleanness, only the obvious spots in the room been cleaned, the rest was dusty and partly dirty. The safe in one room was not usable - battery empty, staff didn't manage to get this fixed. Staff itself was not very helpful and not making the impression of been very competent.
Certainly can't recommend Hotel Indigo. Defiantly will use another Hotel when travel to Düsseldorf.

Yes. My room had a heating/ cooling unit in it.
I have not stayed at the IC so cannot comment on it but I cannot recommend the Indigo highly enough - it is a great hotel and it is only a 20 mins walk to the centre - through quiet streets and a park.
We used a taxi from the airport both times as our flight did not arrive until approx. 8pm. Public transport is easy to use but I wouldn't hesitate to get a taxi.
It didn't take long and cost just over 22 Euros.
Pets are welcome in our hotel. The daily rate is € 15
hi, the breakfast is a continental one with lots of meat, cheese fruit, yog etc.german bread, jams and peanut butter. Also some hot food egg, sausages. it was a lovely breakfast.
