I like this hotel a lot. Very clean, specious rooms with enough light and air. The room served food menu is bit small though... but the one i ordered was very testy. Only problem with this place is, this is far away from the city center. It takes more than half an hour walk to reach there. If i came...

I expected European hotels to be similar to Japanese hotels. Small, cramped, (Well, the shower is cramped) but good quality. The reception and first impressions were really bad. I came into a cramped reception and the building looked like a normal apartment building. But after the cramped lift ride, The entrance to the room was huge! The room itself was...

Stayed here while visiting my son and taking in some football matches. Typical Holiday Inn; functional, tidy, clean and quite spacious rooms at a reasonable rate. Circa €65prpn - room only. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment, other than to say the restaurant and bar looked nice. Location wise not brilliant, for either the city centre or the...

we booked with jet 2 to go to the mercure Dusseldorf - hafen, only to find out a couple of days before that it had changed hands and was now a Holiday Inn. I was a bit put out so to speak as we had chosen the hotel because it was a mercure and Jet 2 didn't bother to tell...

This HI location ticks all of the IHG formula boxes. It's average at everything and that's what you're expecting - right? On my first visit it was fiercely expensive but then there was an exhibition in town and rooms were at a premium. I was upgraded to a nice room / bathroom which warmed up after a while. I had...

Nice hotel for a business trip. Have stayed here a few times now. The staff are always friendly, the service is great and the food is very good. The beds are good and the room has enough space and furnishing is good. The only downside about the rooms would be the temperature, the rooms were very hot and despite having...

Dear Jilks, thank you for taking the time after your stay in our Hotel to send us such a nice review. About the temperature in our rooms, we had some problems because couple of days before it was really cold and we put the heating system up - so it needs time to cold down if there are a few...

It's a bit dated but everything works so nothing to really complain about, just that everything from the Reception, to the elevator, to the bedroom, looks a little dated. I just needed a bed for the night prior to a business meeting - if you want no thrills, this is fine.

Although a bit out of center, it's easy to travel to and from with bus, trams and S-Bahn very close by. From the card vending machines we bought a day ticket for public transport, which was only 10 euro for 2 adults (children up to 6 are free). Hotel staff is friendly. Evening check-in on Friday took a bit long...
