A nice clean hotel tucked away from the busy street behind a wall. Free parking. Clean, small room but you can get a bigger one if you want. I paid €57 a night and stayed two nights.
Staff very friendly. I didn’t have breakfast as I was working at 04:00

I got an iron and ironing board on request. (Iron needs de-calking though)

I was trying to get to sleep at around 19:00 but the house man was using a high pressure cleaner outside my window. Maybe do such loud things a bit earlier on. Admittedly 19:00 is still allowed.

Restaurants etc about 5-10 minutes walk away. A filling station about 2 mins away for water snacks etc

I would return

No air con though. I’m not sure how it would be on hot days. My stay 15°c - 19°c. Cold summer days.

We made a reservation here for our last day in Europe on a recent vacation. Well, we made it back to Dusseldorf a day early and thought we would check and see if there was a room available at the same hotel, so that we didn't have to move again. We spoke to the owner and she was more than willing and able to accomodate us! she was very pleasant and gave us the same price as our reserved room. The rooms were very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The gardens in the back were lovely. This place is located in the Kaiserwerth district of Dusseldorf which is historical and quaint. It's only a short walk to the Rhine river and you are able to catch a boat and cruise down the Rhine and back again! You can walk down the streets and see many little shops and cafe's, loads of places to eat! The breakfast was very lovely, more than enough to eat in very pleasant surroundings. I will definitely be back again on my next trip to Germany!!!

My already high expectations were exceeded. Location is good in a nice place and not far from the airport. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent and very nice and helpful staff. If you visit the area this is the place to stay.

We arrived at this very scenic hotel late on a Friday. Greeted by a person who couldn't speak even a word of English, I was initially very happy to use my limited German, which I have been learning as my fourth language.
Susan, the owner, greeted us after sometime, and I was unsure why she insisted on having both my and my friend's ages, given that I had been emailing her from work address and that I have a very good, professional job at a very large international company. I also found it rather unnecessary that she insisted on telling us how expensive the keys were and how they often get stolen, a long, boring story that I could have been spared from at 1am in the morning. I was further disappoitned to learn that, after her boring 30 minute speech, Susan hadn't even bothered to organise for our rooms to be made up prior to our arrival. Susan said that she would not be in the hotel in the early morning, but that she would be from midday and the rest of our stay to provide us with further information. However, she never reappeared.
Staff the next morning also spoke no French, nor Swedish nor English, and were unable to provide us with directions of any sort or even point out where the Rhine Tower was on a map of the city (which was not as good as the basic one I had printed off from the internet). We were also not given any travel information regarding airports. I travel every second weekend, and this hotel had by far the most unhelpful, unknowledgeable staff I have ever encountered. A shame as this really ruined our trip. In addition, my fellow guest had a (previously never experienced from her) allergic reaction to the vast amounts of perfumed detergents etc that were filling the room. We tried to speak with the staff about this, but of course, this was to no avail. The reception never answered the phone in the 7 times we called them during our weekend stay. Pillows also cheap and uncomfortable and beds not firm. Would not stay again.

I visited this hotel for business. The Hotel is nice, the atmosphere is friendly. If you are a big person and need quite some space, note that the bathrooms are rather small not to say too small. Breakfast was Ok, they offer eggs, cereals, bread etc.

My father and I stayed two nights at Hotel Villa Falkenberg in August 2019, and my husband stayed three nights in May 2019. (Friends of our stayed several weeks in August while in the process of a family move.) We all loved it. My husband highly recommended the hotel after his stay in May when he came to Dusseldorf for a confirmation, and Hotel Villa Falkenberg absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was exquisite and clean. The beds, sheets, and pillows were comfortable and fresh. A candy on the pillow was a lovely touch. The breakfast was stunning and delicious. Hotel Villa Falkenberg has lovely gardens and is close to a trail where you can take a nice walk along the Rhine to the center of Kaiserswerth. Susann Maurer, the chef, and staff were friendly, helpful and kind. We are already planning to stay here again the next time we are in Dusseldorf.

Unfortunately I give a lower rate, just because one, but vey essential thing.
Hotel is clean, staff is friendly, breakfast very good, but the bed in the room...was a disaster. We were three business partners staying and all three shared the same not-able-to sleep experience. The beds are way to soft, my back was totally broken.
I am traveling a lot and could say it is the most wanted thing after a long day - to rest. Unfortunately here it was not possible.

The villa is an amazing mix of art, design and nature, the warmth of this piace is unbelieve, the kindness of the staff is so pleasant and the sense of hospitality of Susanne is enchanting!
Everything is superb, from the rooms to the breakfast to the tidiness: definitely the place to be!

Located on a main street in Kaiserswerth.
Close to the commercial area and the Rhine. Very nice backyard. Train stop nearby from where you can get the train to Düsseldorf ‘s main station.
Clean rooms and very good breakfast with many options.

Booked this as a last minute on the internet whilst travelling through Germany and what a great little find. We originally booked a double room but upgraded when we arrived to a suite with a magnificent balcony, it was very peaceful and very quiet. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on, it was like lying in a bed of marshmallows! The staff were very attentive and breakfast was delicious. The only thing missing was the sound of classical music in the breakfast room, that would have suited the hotel perfectly. I also think the hotel could do with bigger signage outside the hotel as we struggled to find it, we drove past twice!

All in all a very pleasant stay, I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice quiet relaxing stay with attentive service.
