We booked this B&B a few months ago for a visit to the Christmas Markets. My expectations were already high due to the positive reviews that I had read and I did not think that it was possible that they would be exceeded. They were! From start to finish my Husband and I were treated like royalty. We were welcomed...

As we travel we sometimes encounter a unique experience that is like no other. Having stayed in many hotels and B&Bs this stay was one of the most memorable! Our host enjoys what he does and he does it well. He takes great care to ensure you have a memorable stay in Cologne and shares with you the local customs...

My husband and I had the most AMAZING stay at Mikel's house! We ended our 3 week Europe vacation in Cologne, and while we absolutely loved the city, Mikel's hospitality is what made our stay even more special. At that point in our trip we were pretty tired from traveling, and Mikel catered to our every need and treated us...

The breakfast is the stuff of legends. Hidden behind an unprepossessing entrance is a true Aladdins cave of excellence. Michael, thank you so much for spoiling us, you are a natural host. A fantastic advert for Cologne hospitality.

We had the pleasure of staying here for three nights. What an amazing place - an artist studio with its own resident cat. On arrival our host gave us hints on what to see and do and where to eat. He even loaned us umbrellas when the weather was threatening. Breakfast was too good to be true. Think brunch, think...

Booked on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. While the entrance is unassuming, inside, in contrast, is far from ordinary. Its like walking inside the home of an artist. The walls are filled with paintings and sculptures, the current theme is Bulls, after a recent trip to Spain. The cat lounges behind one of the pieces....

I chose B&B Cologne based on its incredible TripAdvisor rating and I can now say that it is completely worthy of this rating. The location is perfect- right near the river, chocolate museum, Christmas markets and the cathedral yet there was no noise and I enjoyed a comfortable and peaceful nights sleep! The apartment was very clean. Mike is very...

We had a wonderful long weekend here and felt completely spoiled by the amazing food and excellent service! The breakfasts are just fantastic, as many other reviewers have said, but there's much more going for this place - lovely rooms with comfortable beds, great location and a relaxed atmosphere. The stand-out highlight for us was our host Mike - he...

Mike is probably going to have to beat me off with a stick. This is the ONLY place I'm going to stay when I'm in Köln! I booked a solid two years in advance. Yes, ladies and gentleman, two years! As the days drew nearer, there was some chaos with the booking on my side, but throughout it all Mike...

When I read a review so grandiose, then I get a little red, but then I know I've done everything right and the guest has felt like home. This is the maxim of my little B & B in Cologne and myself have booked through TripAdvisor already so much wonderful guests with me. I warmly thank dear friends for the...

We have wanted to go to the Christmas Markets in Cologne for 2 years but kept putting it off until we could stay at B&B Cologne. It was definitely worth the wait! Transfer from the airport was straightforward and the tram stops about 200m away. The B&B is really well located - you can walk to The Dom in 10...

Hospitality, attention to detail and service for our guests include the maxim of our House. In a penthouse apartment of approx. 160 m2 on the edge of the old town of Cologne, just 300 metres from the river Rhine, we offer our guests two double rooms with an en suite bathroom, and a full breakfast. Those who stay private, preferring a hotel or a guesthouse, is located in the designer apartment with South-facing terrace, close to all sights, the shopping streets, the museums and the Cologne fair, certainly probably lead.
