Being located behind the train station, this is a very nice hotel with all the basic amenities. The rooms, while modest, are quite comfortable. It has a good wifi connection as well. Good value and highly recommended!

We stayed here as it was close to Phantasialand (20 min easy drive) which we had spent the day at. The next morning we drove to the Cologne Cathedral which was about another 20 min drive from the hotel. We arrived after hours but picked up our key without any issues at the Irish Bar next door called "The Quiet...

This hotel is only a short walk from the station in a residential area. My room was reasonably comfortable, quite spacious with a decent bathroom. Breakfast was basic but acceptable. The coridoors and rooms were not the cleanest, they need a new vacuum cleaner, or better cleaning staff. It was strange that on arrival you have to go to a...

Good location near to downtown and station. It's best to leave your car in the parking of the museum nearby (at a good rate). The rooms are clean, however there is carpet on the floor and I didnn't like the deco. No safe n the room and no aircon. The breakfast room is nice, but not enough tables. So when...

Was in Bonn on business and wasn't thinking there would be much to see but was pleasantly proven wrong. This looked to be a relatively new and renovated property, very quaint and on a quiet street just a few blocks from the train station. No elevator so if climbing steps is an issue, you might want to request lower floors....

This hotel is comfortable, welcoming, well-run and located in an attractive, central residential area. The breakfast room is peaceful and they serve an extensive breakfast buffet. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is in a lovely quiet street about 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. Our room was lovely with a comfortable bed, high ceilings and two big windows out to the street. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will certainly look for rooms at the Hotel Villa Esplanade the...

Hotel is situated in a nice building very close to the main station. There is an irishpub in the basement (where the keys had to be picked upon arrival at 22:00). Even though the pub was filled there was no noise in the room. Rooms are simple and clean. In the room there is lots of info, f.ex. a whole...

We had a great stay at the Villa Esplanade, located in a lovely location and just 10 minutes walking distance from the centre. Rooms were huge and very clean. Breakfast was good at 9 euro p.p. Also a couple of good bakeries down the street as an alternative to breakfast at the hotel.

Spent 1 night at the Villa Esplanade because it was close to the city centre and attractions including Beethoven's House. Lovely place. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. Beautiful, arty decorations, comfortable beds and large windows. Clearly it was someone's grand home at some point and it has retained all of its grand charm and feel without being...

“We were a family of three and had a room overlooking Colmantstrasse. The windows are isolated to so there is no street noise even though the busses go by. It was fun to be able to see the beautiful homes across the street and to see the people cleaning the snowy sidewalks.”
