I have stayed at the Palmenhof a couple of times. This time I had a lovely double room with a large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything I needed (including a kettle and tea and coffee). A minibar was included and well stocked if a bit expensive. The area is very attractive (with parks and...

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean, beds are good. Interior is a bit outdated. Breakfast is OK. The hotel does not have a lot of rooms so not that many amenities, eg no gym. Staff is helpful to give a wifi code but it´s not user friendly to get it working.

This is an ideal place for a business traveler. It's clean and comfortable. The hotel is quaint and location is good. Breakfast buffet is good, but if you're staying for a week it gets tyring. The hotel staff are attentive but reception could be warmer.

The staff is extremely helpful and kind. Personal attention and feel-good experience. I was given a suite and despite the fact that is was located on street level, it was extremely quiet. The bathroom was enormous, and included a sofa. A perfect stay for my next business trip!

A well located cheaper hotel on the west of the town. Has seen better days and needs some money spending on it. Especially on some ventilation as traffic noise in the front rooms does windows to be closed and the rooms are small. Breakfast is adequate.

Dear Christopher K, We are very sorry to hear, that you feeled uncomfortable. We can also offer superior rooms, they are much larger and facing the court yard. If you would have toldl the reception during your stay about your concerns, we could arrange, to make you happy.

Located in the West End area, better side of the city I was told. The hotel appearance is pleasing with lovely red bricks with nice decor. Room is clean but a bit small in size, still comfortable enough. Number of very good restaurants nearby including "Oceans" next to the hotel. Hop on hop off bus in front of the hotel...

This hotel is a grand old dame that has been updated with an elevator and other modern amenities. My room was one of the larger ones facing the front and had a well-appointed bathroom. It came with a beautiful balcony and some grand furniture, however, the traffic from the Bockenheimer Landstrasse was quite noticeable, at times. Ear plugs secured a...

Extremely friendly service. Beds are very comfortable and breakfast is good but we had to pay extra (EUR 16 per person). Hotel has only 3 parking spaces right in front, so be sure to reserve (EUR 16 per day). The free internet did not work and nor did the safe (and it was not fixed during our stay). Conveniently located...

As others have noted this hotel is in a quiet residential area and is a short walk from the Alte Oper and 2 metro stops from the Hauptwache shopping district. The wifi is free and fast, an iron is available upon request from reception. The breakfast is typical continental with a good selection - fantastic fruit salad for my visit....

I stayed here for one night in October. I've been to Frankfurt a number of times and had been curious about this grand-looking place. I like staying in this neighborhood because it's very near the Gruneburgpark, which is wonderful for walking and running and also has an interesting area where they've recreated various forest ecosystems (North American, Northern Europe, Asian)....
