ONE, I mean 1 SHOWER for 3 floors, ancient toilets and crumpy rooms!!! Somebody came ( it was around 1a.m.)and knocked really hard on the shower door beacause he heard no running water sounds. Hotels in Hamburg are kinda pricey and so for our 1 night we went for this budget type hotel. On paper the location is great - fairly close to the railway station. But the walk from the railway station (And this is possibibly true of these areas in many major cities) is through an area which is becoming run down...

Get ready to climbing stairs: This hotel have 5 floors and no lift! The rooms are comfortable and clean, and have with free (very-very-slow) wi-fi. The room heating is week. The corridors are not that clean! In the morning you wake up listening the other guests in the corridors. The private WC has the minimum requirements you may ask. This...

This hotel is excellent value for money. Its 5 minutes from Central Station. The staff are really friendly and the rooms and showers were good. The only downfall is the street its on. There is a lot of dodgy folk hanging about at night and there is lots of prostitutes. They are not in your face but are there and...

I went here with my girlfriend for a two night stay in Hamburg. There were nicer places but this one seemed to have the best location, being 10mins walk from Hamburg Station and 5 mins walk to two other tube stations. Our room was small and a bit basic but we had a good nights sleep. Dont let the bad...

Hotel Wikinger is located just under a 10 minute walk from the Central Train Station; which is very convenient if you intend to travel around - as you can make use of the Metro & Train services. I booked a room Economy Single room - which had a private bathroom, so unfortunately can’t comment on the use of the shared...

10 minute walk from Hamburg central station and the city center which is very convenient. Very cheap. Good breakfast. Clean. Some people in the staff don't speak english. Beware because there is no lift in this hotel.

Room: we stayed in a 'family room' for 3 adults. Clean room, spacious en-suit bathroom with nice hot water, furniture looked new. Comfortable bed+pillow. Heating working perfectly. Window, however, was broken and unable to leave open. Noise: A LOT. Do not block out noise from rooms above/outside very much. Our room was located practically in front of reception (24hrs) and...

“Our family room's en-suit bathroom had a shower and a bath tub. I don't know if all their family rooms are like that, but ours came with a bath tub and a separate toilet (with a door within the bathroom) which was nice. Shame it had to be opposite reception and right next to the kitchen/laundry room!”
