Indoor cigarette smoking is still a thing in (parts of?) Germany, and this hotel appearantly allows smoking in the lobby bar. This infuses the entire hotel, so if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, stay away. Our room was a rather old fashioned, but neat and clean. Nice

Does the train run from the airport to the main station? Approximate cost?
The train is at the airport. Handy to have some euro coins along for tix. Hotel is across a wide road.

Can you walk to Hamburg Cruise Center?
It's about 2,5 kilometers. So I guess it depends. If you have luggage and such, I would suggest you hop on a bus or a U-train for the 20-minute ride. The hotel anyway gives you a free 3-day ticket for public transport within the city.

Can anyone tell me if there is a hairdryer supplied in each room? Thankyou
Hi I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and there has been a hair dryer for my wife in each room we have used. Even if there is not the staff are so helpful I am sure that they will supply one for you
