My wife and I really enjoyed out 2 night stay at this elegant hotel. The property is immaculate and the staff so very friendly and accommodating. With a lake view and the breakfast buffet to start your day, you will also have a supreme stay
A very traditional hotel. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant - in all areas - reception, room service, the bar and restaurant. The room was fine, beds very comfortable and a good selection of items in the bathroom. No tea bags in the room. The...More

if you want to take your bicycle by public transport to the airport, no problem. Taking bikes on this train is no issue either -unless you travel during rushhour on a business day, when bikes are not allowed. Rushhour is considered 6 to 9 am and 4 to 6 pm.
Bikes do not require a seperate payment.
The train station closest to the hotel is the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). I guess 5 minutes by bike, 10 minutes if you push the bike.
Have fun in Hamburg. Its a great city.
