This is a chain hotel in Friedrichshain. The hotel is reasonably new, clean and fine. Right outside a U-Bahn station (Samariterstr) with direct connection to Alexanderplatz. There is a supermarket in the GF. So it is fine for a city trip to Berlin. The main concern might be the location. Berlin is huge so you will need to take the...

Hotel situated right outside U-Bahn station, which comes in handy for visiting different places and getting to and from the airport. Wide variety of breakfast choices served. Hotel staff friendly, helpful and speak a variety of languages. Rooms well kept, clean and tidy. If it's your first trip to Berlin, a few days are required and this hotel offers a...

Fabulous location as situated right beside the underground which brought us into the center or the airport. On arrival, the receptionist didn't seem too friendly. The elevator didn't work the whole time we were there and as I had only got my cast off from breaking my ankle less than 4 weeks prior to this, it wasn't ideal to be...

The hotel is very well located, just in front of a subway station (U-bahn - U5 line). Also, it is close to many bars/pubs and restaurants. Also it is very clean and the staff is very kind. But... The elevator broke... actually, the two elevators. The problem is that they stayed broken for more than 3 days. As our room...

Rosemary and I stayed here for three nights and we made a good choice for our first visit to Berlin. It is located in the east side of the city but a only a few stops on the Metro for Alexanderplatz which is one of the major hubs of tourism in Berlin. It can be accessed easily from Schonefeld Airport...

Staff really helpful, room lovely and clean with a good view. Great location only a few stops from Alexanderplatz and some great bars and shops nearby. As we got such a good deal we couldn't be happier with the hotel. Clean + good location = happy customers

The location is very convenient for me when I visit Berlin. It is right across the street from the more active neighborhoods in Friedrichshain, which are home to multiple great restaurants. The service was fast and competent during reservation, check-in and check-out. The room was clean and quiet, the bed not too horribly firm (often a problem when staying in...

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
