When we first arrived to Hotel Arche we were a bit shocked. The uninviting hallway doubled as a bicycle storage. No elevator, good to remember if you have heavy luggage or babycart with you. Absolutely unsuitable for people in a wheelchair.

Really nice basic pension. Quality-price ratio is great. Tasty and shockingly many-sided breakfast. Flexible and friendly staff. Bus to Tegel took only 17 min, S-Bahn to downtown 15 min. Wifi works only at "reception". We stay 3 nights at early February and pay € 170...bargain!!!

This is a very basic accommodation. But it is clean. It doesn't have tea making facilities. But it is in a great place for shopping and sight seeing. Walking out on to the street you are right in the thick of restaurants, shops and bars....More
Clean. Good selection for breakfast. Central Charlottenburg, with easy access to transport. Superb restaurants in easy distance. Only downside is that the bedroom needs uplifting. Good bathroom. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
