Stayed here for 3 nights. Good value for money, friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. The room we had was somewhat cramped but the room was light, airy and very clean. The hotel is located in an old building and although there is a lift it serves alternate floors, so not ideal for those in wheelchairs. The S...

I just spent a week in this hotel, in room 29, Very comfortable, very clean, high ceilings, big windows, modern and clean bathroom. This inside room makes it very quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Two computers available for one Euro/30 mins. Hotel location is only a short walk to Kurfürstendamm and also very convenient to...

The reception is on first floor and the elevator in the back yard, making it less accessible. Otherwise this is a very nice hotel. We had a fantastic room with old wooden panels, a fireplace and a balcony. The breakfast was superb - great selection of everything. Service was very friendly, personal and excellent. This hotel is within 200 meters...

An excellent choice in a great location. We spent a birthday weekend with our son and spouse and found the staff extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was very good except for the sliced bread which was dry (in a country with the best bread in the world) The rooms were clean and airy and well and well decorated. Immediately...

The Hotel Aida is located,a short 2 block walk from the Savignyplatz S-bahn station, making it very convenient to all of Berlin. The neighborhood is safe and the hotel itself is in a 100+ year old building that has been renovated without losing any of its charm. Reception is 1 flight up, where you will be greeted by competent and...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

“West side big rooms of the first floor ,if we count the reception floor as a groundfloor even if it is about 4m above the road level, are very quiet, sunny and they see a very nice school building builded with red bricks, very peaceful where you here the children voices with pleasure after your good sleep in an comfortable bed. The inner rooms which are viewing the atrium are not so sunny , they have not a good view but they are also very quiet! Free Wifi exists in all areas of the hotel but not so quick and with some problems.”
