A typical old Berlin apartment on the 4th floor with spacious and clear rooms. Perfect location (20-30 min to the airport, U-Bahn 7 min walk, several shops and restaurants in the area) / fair prices. Breakfast was described by some reviewers as fantastic, it is ok ( coffee was average, bread was not really fresh on this Sunday morning). Nice...

I stayed in this family-run property almost 2 years ago (so discard the date I picked in this form) and owe an apology that I am rating the hotel just now. A wonderful place; very warm and cozy with parket floors, carpets and plenty of light in the room. The owners were very helpful and friendly. Cleaning was impeccable. Breakfast...

We recently stayed for four nights at the Ingeborg staying in a double room with bathroom. The room was located at the rear overlooking the courtyard and was very quiet. The double bed was very comfortable and the room furnishings clean and tidy. The bathroom was not the biggest but had a decent shower with plenty of hot water. The...

I traveled with a group of 6 teenagers and we all loved this pension/hotel. The location was within easy metro distance to everything, the neighborhood was good, with lots of places to eat, in different budget ranges; the hotel was very secure; the proprietors were very helpful whenever we had a question; although the hotel is on the 4th floor,...

The Pension is situated at the top of the KurDamm so quite central, and near Savigny Platz metro station. It is on the 4th floor of an apartment bliock and the ride in the lift, which was installed in 1909, was quite something. You have to ring the bell downstairs and the Lady in charge comes down to collect you....

It was nice staying in Pension Ingeborg. The breakfast was great with varieties. I like the spacious room and being cleaned very well. The only minor problem was the shared toilet/bath room. The bath room on the hallway was supposed to be for two single rooms to share. Unfortunately, people who stayed in the suites also came to use the...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
