We had a very good stay at this hotel whilst enjoying the Christmas markets and all that Berlin has to offer. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to the S-Bahn public transport and offering a good hearty breakfast. We could not ask for more...More

Booked a double, got a single but they told me I could pay to upgrade each night per night at some crazy price.

The good: located close to the Charlottenburg S-Bahn train station (~30 minutes from the center) on a quiet neighborhood with some good restaurants can be found around.
The NOT good, for ~200 EUR/night you get:
- No Air-Conditioning
- Impossible to regulate water temperature
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
