The hotel Otto probably won't win any awards for it's architecture as it's rather bland from the outside. That's the negativity out of the way. The hotel Otto is a very clean, comfortable hotel with thoroughly supportive and attentive staff. The room I had (1st floor) was a twin and would certainly be big enough for two, was cleaned every...

The hotel has great location. Rooms are spacious and well organized. Wifi good. Breakfast fine and great to offer free coffee and snacks in the afternoon. Not good to have lift stopping between floors when you have heavy luggage. Staff friendly and helpful.

This Hotel was in a great position near the underground station and surrounded by a wide range of good restaurants. Basic rooms are fairly small but have all that is needed. There isn't a bar or lounge area which is disappointing when you come back after dinner. However you can use the breakfast room during the day. The best thing...

Stayed here for the entire week during exec education programme. Short taxi ride the airport, within walking distance of the Berlin Zoo and K'dam. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The water pressure and temperature is excellent. Every single staff member is a delight to talk to and service oriented. Breakfast is served on the light filled top floor and...

My room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was a great buffet. Service was excellant. When I arrived at 10 AM my room wasn't ready so the front desk manager incited me to have a cup of tea and breakfast before I went out. I mentioned that I was on a gluten free diet andI was given delicious rolls and...

I stayed here with my husband and two teenage children. The hotel is within 10 mins walking distance of public transport which is very efficient and easy to use. The room was spacious particularly in comparison to other European cities. Beds were comfortable, shower strength strong, kept clean, all good ! Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
