stayed here for 2 nights, very easy transport from Berlin Schönefeld Airport on the regional Bahn that stops very close. The S bahn and U bahn also have very close access so getting around berlin was very easy on a all day pass. The hotel was clean, we had two separate single rooms, both were identical, they were small but...

The hotel rooms aresimple but cute and most importantly they are very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the variety of things to eat and drink is very good. It is near the U-bahn (subway) and the S-bahn is just opposite the hotel so the transportation to the city center and all the...

Clean and renovated room and bathroom with an average breakfast. The hot water goes nearly as much up and down as the Internet connection. Nearly. Annoying sensor control light in stairs & corridors that sometimes make you stumble around in the dark. Staff is quit friendly.

This is a great budget hotel. Visited it first time in 2014. It seems like they have renovated the hallways and rooms. Location is good, close to U-Bahn (metro) and S-Bahn (city-train). Lots of restaurants and some bars around. Quiet area at night. Room was good, normal size, equippet with two single beds. Facing the backyard, quiet at night. Bathroom...

The service it's OK, the staff are correct, reception 24h which is fantastic for young people. The area is quiet, not far away from the centre and the...

Located right beside a liquor shop and a bar definitely not suitable for the group of 15 year old pupils we were traveling with. No electricity in one of the rooms we had, fixed the next day. Most rooms with intense smell of smoke. Generally low standard. I am concerned for the fire safety. No alternative emergency exit for several...

I would comment on the following: Room - very basic. Just a bed/beds , a desk, two chairs, a wardrobe and a flat screen television. No mini bar or tea and coffee making facilities. No air conditioning so you need to open the windows. Wifi service- we did have a problem of using the free internet service and had to...

Booked this hotel in a rush and made mistake on arrival date. Although called them few hours later, and they did had the same room available for next day when I actually needed it, they refused to change date or offer some other solution to that and just simply charged the whole sum for no showing - arguing it is...

Clean rooms, friendly reception staff. We had a room at the front of the hotel which was very noisy, no aircon so we had to have the window open, once the drunks had gone home and the table dancing club staff had said their goodbyes then it was time for the trains to start. If you go ask for a...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
