We stayed at Hotel Elba for four days this month and we would both highly recommend it. The room was clean and bright with a high ceiling and an ensuite bathroom. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and we were made to feel welcome. The breakfast is outstanding and well worth including in your plan at €9.50 per person...

Faboulous small hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly and didn't laugh at our bad attempt at German. Everything was spotless. The breakfast was so fresh and healthy with a good range of options. We would definitely stay again.

Near to Ku'damm. Old building but well renovated so quite cosy. Price is low and you can expect breakfast like in 5* hotel. For really low price. I was really delighted. Parking is outside just on the street what sometime may be difficult, but you can buy parking card in the hotel allowing you to park in certain district for...

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Not a large bedroom but perfectly satisfactory for a 3 night stay, with plenty of storage, also very clean and comfortable and with a good en-suite shower. The real plus point though is the breakfast, an excellent selection of meats cheeses, egg, fish, fruit, cakes etc kept topped up throughout the session. And most unusually...

We did not choose this hotel because it is close to the Kurfürstendamm, but because we needed a large room for 4 people. And big it was, also in height, maybe 4 meters and decorated very tasteful. The hallway was a bit worn, but it was offset by a old elevator and a feeling that it was great to stay...

Room 32 was a room for 4 which was a decent size with a balcony which was a great bonus for my smoker friends. Bathroom was really small though, you can only be in there one at a time. Great breakfast and lovely staff. Clean towels everyday. Hop on hop off tour bus was less than 10mins walk away from...

We stayed at Hotel Elba for 4 nights and thought the hotel was lovely and in a good location. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom is small but adequate with a good shower and hairdryer. The breakfast was extremely sufficient with different foods each morning...

My experience was not so good. To my understanding it is not worth money asked for. First of all this place is not hotel, but pension - hotel. Reception is working from 8:00-20:00, in rest of time there is some phone number for emergency cases. Around this place, some construction works are being performed. Parking is located in public parking...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
