A reception person was helpful when we called in to find out the location of the hotel. She sounded patient but somehow she wanted to finish soon as possible about the conversation ( I understand the hotel is busy but...) When we arrived to the hotel, my husband told me the reception avoided eye contact, never tried to look at him.... More

MINUS POINTS One name: CINDY - Worst service at hotel EVER! (With a reception that works between 6am and 10pm...) When I saw two beds and I told her I reserved a double one she told me that <that was a wish>!!! The next day I asked for extra toiletries (because there were only for one person the first day)... This hotel was super central in Mitte. There is so much to do close by. We arrived well before check-in time after an international flight and they found us a room to check in. They have nice staff, it's easy to reach by public transport. The rooms are very nice and spacious, great shower with hot water. The beds are... More

It was a very pleasant stay generally speaking. The hotel was very clean, quiet, in a really nice area, practically close to everything. The metro station was 1' away, nice restaurants around. Thank you very much for everything.

Lovely, homey yet modern hotel in one of the best neighborhoods in Berlin. Walk 20min to Museumsinsel and 10min to Hackeshermarkt Shops and other attractions. Art lovers can stroll the closest streets for the best galleries and exhibition spaces in town, like KW. Tons of restaurants for different budgets within steps. Only minus was, I Found the floor (wood) to... More

I arrived at midnight (bought a deal from lastminute.com) so they were as responsible for the awful experience as the hotel. There are no night staff, the numbers on the door for the sister hotel are not answered reliably, we spoke to 2 other guests that had the same issues as me, so be warned if your flight doesn't allow you... A great location when your aim is shopping or just wandering through the streets of Berlin. There are numerous culinaric opportunities close by the hotel and also proximity to a number of central sites within the city centre. We've been there twice as a family and enjoy the family rooms. The breakfast is remarkable!

We stayed here for four night and I loved the hotel. The location is perfect. Our room was large, clean and quiet. The staff has been helpfull and really kind. The only negative point it was the breakfast: too much expensive compared with the patisseries near to the hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights and love the location which is at the end of Linienstraase, with it's bars, restaurant and fun stuff. We got a complementary glass of wine upon arrival and the room was large and clean. We upgraded to the "Double Room Lifestyle Plus", which is highly recommended. Kind of like a junior suite.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
