Beware! I woke up with my legs covered in insect bites. Housekeeping was quick to check the room and denied bed bugs. They claimed I must have had the window open. (It was never opened during my stay) No real apology and staff acted like they were doing me a favor allowing me to BORROW their burn cream for 20... More

My family and I went house hunting for a weekend and decided to stay at this property. Excellent service, great room and friendliness is what you will find. They even have a special "check-in" area for kids. The breakfast buffet was excellent, it is a MUST if you stay there. People tend to think that these type of hotels will... More

Stayed here 2 years ago in the Club Room and was really pleased by the quality of the hotel and service. Decided to return, last week, ( to the Club room) again for a special birthday. On this return visit the club Room lounge was moved , due to renovations, to the ground floor. This arrangement is not as good as... More

We arrived at the Ritz after 6 days in Madrid and we immediately felt right at home. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. My children, ages 16 and 11 had a welcome gift waiting for them in their room. The concierge helped me ahead of time with tickets to a show and... More

Lovely property in Berlin. Great use of Marriot points, although the bar was kind of stuffy. The conceirge was astonishing! Club lounge had terrific breakfasts and lovely teas in the afternoon. Highly recommend it!

Initially I thought the location was a bit bland and concrete and the facade not that inspiring. However, scrap that. The area is brilliant. Near the Tiergarten and Brandenburg Gate plus many other sites. The hotel was a complete bargain and I did check to ensure that the price I paid for flights and hotel wasn't just for the hotel.... I was "only" invited to a one day seminar event within the Ritz, so I can't say anything about the private rooms, but the remaining part of the hotel was astonishing : classical silver coffee machines, nice carpets , luxurious lamps (even in rooms that you would normally denote as a "lumber-room") and great service (e.g. : you are immediately... Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
