i had read great reviews of this hostel but was left disappointed by my own experience. I booked a single private room. The room was not clean and for instance had ask them to change the mattress cover. The toilets are also not kept very...More
It's a bit overpriced and quite central hostel that is clean enough. The rooms have no air flow, so you have to sleep the window open and it gets noisy. Also the heater wouldn't turn down, so temperature was miserably hot even the window open....More

very good location well served by public transportation with supermarkets 5 mins walk
Me and my friend stayed there only 2 night, but we enjoyed the atmosphere. First of all they have really good prices (very cheap) also, they have a good deal for breakfast (only 3€), it was clean and very friendly.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
