We got a double room at this hotel for 70 euros a night, which made it very good value for money. The hotel does not excel, the floors are noisy, the hallways look a little bit dreary and the staff is not really welcoming, but the room was nice, big enough and clean. The breakfast was acceptable, could be better,...

You get what you pay for even though I though Euro 180.00 per night would be reasonable qualtiy. Except for the young guy at reception who was very helpful, this place is not recommended. I was so lucky to be on a business trip that required me to be out very early and back very late otherwise I would have...

Frankly, I was amazed by this hotel and the services. Although it is a bit far from the center, there are excellent connections. I was the room to be small and cramped, and the breakfast to be ordinary. But, it surpassed my expectations. The rooms are very spacious, well-kept and clean. The services (cleaning, etc) were great and the staff...

We didn't have any complaints about the hotel till the very last moment. The location was nice, as well as room and breakfast. We were welcomed by a nice and polite man who explained us everything, gave us our key and city map. But on the last day, when I came to the reception and said (in English) that I...

The hotel is located next to subwaystation Charlottenburg (U2) and is very easy to reach. The hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor of a big building but a big sign on the outside of the building shows the name of the hotel. It's a small hotel but the rooms and bathroom are basic and clean. Breakfast was also...

I start by saying, i was in and out of here within 12 hours. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Tegel. Kaiserdamm is a big street, and the hotel is on the 5th and 6th floor, accessible by lift, and only the door is visible at ground level. The room was basic bur clean, and the wifi was...

The location is great, right on a main street in a good part of Berlin. We were lucky to find 1 parking spot right in front of the hotel. I could never get into the free wi-fi. They had put in a fan in our room, which was nice since it was a really hot summer day. The breakfast room...

All was good during our stay. Rooms were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable, breakfast was not great but sufficient to keep you up and runnong half day. Next subway 200 meters away, supermarket next door, lots of restaurants nearby. We will be back when in Berlin.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
