We don’t have a big budget, or we’d stay in bigger places closer to the centre of things. Goodmans provided a room much bigger than anything we had had elsewhere in Europe so far, excellent facilities in the room including a really well equipped mini...More
They won't send you any security code to unlock your keys after 7 pm (7:15 pm in my case). So, be able to stay outside without having any kind of customer support at all and ending up sleeping somewhere else.

Pleasant staff, well-appointed rooms, great shower and lovely white fluffy towels. Powerful hairdryer provided. One key which opened all three doors made life easier. Self service laundry was a bonus. Underground just a few yards away. We have visited twice now and would definitely go...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
