Very nice hotel close to major attractions within Berlin, friendly staff with hassle free service. The room we had was on the top floor and extremely clean and quiet, I was genuinely surprised by the number of people at breakfast, you wouldn't know the hotel was so crowded. Easy walking distance to the main berlin train station.

Excellent location close to Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum and the Topography of Terror as well as being close to the restaurants of the Gendarmen Markt. We had a wonderful suite with lots of space, very comfortable beds, good coffee machine, bathrobes, slippers, balcony and all the little extras to be expected of a good 4 star hotel (except, perhaps,...

Fantastic stay! Rooms are clean, staff very friendly and easy to approach as most also speak English. Reception are also very helpful when asking for directions for tourist attractions and also booked us a taxi to the airport as we found the transport system far too complicated and we didn't want the hassle before an early morning flight. Will definitely...

We had a 3-night break here. The hotel staff were super, very friendly and helpful. The Hotel had some building work going on and our first room was a little noisy. They immediately re-roomed us, no fuss, no discussion. Breakfasts were excellent, a wide choice (see below). The bar was great comfortable and the bar staff welcoming and helpful. The...

Choose this hotel in Berlin if proximity to the Berlin Hauptbahnhof/Central Station is important to you (one stop away with the tram) Choose this hotel if you like a sumptuous breakfast, it was definitely above average and really friendly staff. Choose this hotel for a standard chain hotel in a convenient location with comfortable beds. There is not much "extra"...

Favorably located 100 meters from Naturkundemuseum-U6, always kind and helpful employees. Efficient luggage storage service (at the checkin and at the checkout). Room and bathroom not very large but well organized and great for short stays with useful and comfortable furnishings. Extremely quiet and comfortable with any service. Highly recommended.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
