I arrived at the Waldorf a couple of days after the horrible attack at next-door Breitscheidplatz just before Christmas 2017 and in January 2017. It was my sixth visit since the opening and the hotel keeps getting better and better. Check-in went fast and smooth. It always makes you feel welcome when staff retrieves your preferences from earlier visits. I...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 19 January 2017

We stayed here two nights shortly into the New Year of 2017. The room was definitely 5 stars as was the hotel. There is nothing to be said, but good when it comes to a Waldorf Astoria property. Was conveniently located within Berlin to all the main area's. Just a short trip away from the Brandenburg Gate, among shopping area's...

What a wonderful recommendation from Phoenix located in the valley of the sun and welcome back to Berlin. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9th 1989 the city has changed more than any other in Europe in that time. We love it and we are proud to be part of this new era. The entire team of...

We stayed a weekend in a suite in the 10th floor. Great! The breakfast was one of my best experiences ever with a combination of excellent service, amazingly rich buffet with all sorts of delicacies and all special wishes were fulfilled! My special thanks! Waldorf Astoria and especially the suite (I guess it was called "junior suite") was worth choosing....

After a flight from the US which was impossible to get any sleep, I checked into the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. I had a very important meeting that day. The overnight flight made me lose 7 hours of rest and dropped me in Berlin at 7:15am. I got my bags and arrived at the hotel at 8:15am. My meetings was at...

Of course, Berlin is a highly competitive market for the hospitality industry, especially in the luxury segment. There might be no other European capital with such a range of deluxe hotels to go along with such a low rate level. Having a look at the top segment you will find Hotel de Rome (Rocco Forte), The Regent, Adlon (Kempinski), Ritz-Carlton,...

Stayed here for 4 days and initially was given a nice room on the non smoking floor. After the first night we were contacted by the front desk that our room bathroom tub needed to be serviced and they would be changing our room. They offered to move our stuff while we were out in the city, but due to...

Thank you for sharing the experience, which you had eight months ago at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin. We were extremely concerned to read that your stay did not live up to your expectations. Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
