I took a school group of 8 here and was very pleased indeed. Lovely, functional, clean rooms with ensuite shower, fabulous breakfast and a great location near to where we had a conference. The hotel walking distance to mexikoplatz s-bahn and takes about 20-30 mins to central areas. Really useful that the hotel had the subway tickets each day (saved...

This is our second time for staying here. It is a wonderful hotel in a quiet neighborhood and close to the S-Bahn. The hotel staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room and bathroom were clean with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good with a variety of continental items to choose from. If you ask for fresh cooked eggs...

My husband and I have been travelling to Berlin for years and were tired of the chain hotels. When we found this hotel we were very pleased. It is run by delightful people who cant do enough for you. They all speak excellent English but allow me to practise my German as well. We always stay in our favourite room which is...

We stayed for three nights in this nice B&B hotel in the quiet Berlin district of Zehlendorf. The rooms are fine and the beds are very good. The hotel building is a former large family house and has wooden floors and stairs (no elevator). The very good breakfast is served with a large choice of continental items. The hotel is...

We have stayed in Berlin hotels many times over the last 20 years and this family-run hotel is by far the very best! It was our first stay here. The price is reasonable, the rooms are comfortable and clean, parking on the street is convenient, and the surroundings are very quiet. We parked the car and walked to Schlachtensee (the...

December 2013 was our third stay at the Landhaus. As usual we received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Everything was just as good as ever. We discovered that there was a performance at the Komische Oper that we very much wanted to see so we asked one of the staff to try and book us seats. However the...

Zhelendorf is a quiet suburb of Berlin easily accessible by S-Bahn, Bus and U-Bahn. Local to the hotel are woods and lakes beloved by Berliners as swimming and sunbathing spots. The hotel is perfectly located on a quiet street with on road parking but only 3 minutes from MexicoPlatz S-Bahn station. The city centre is 30 - 45 minutes away...

And quiet -- don't forget quiet. My family (including two children, aged 2 & 4) and I have stayed here twice: December 2011 and December 2012. Kids are truly welcome, which made a big difference to us. The rooms are well appointed and not too small. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful, with plenty of variety and excellent coffee. Parking...

What a great Hotel. Just off Mexicoplatz. On the main line into Berlin City Centre. Funny old place this one, really friendly, small, family run Hotel. Super clean and tidy. Rooms are lovely and all with en-suite. Beds are a bid hard and small but OK. BUT - The best thing about this hotel is that you can have Breakfast...

Landhaus is a great location if you don't want to stay in the centre of Berlin. It is a lovely, peaceful and very friendly little guest house with good rooms and an excellent breakfast service. The S-bahn is only about 5 minutes walk away and has a regular service into the city. There is a very good Italian restaurant and...

“I found the staff to be candid and helpful -- and their English is very good. The owner is frequently on-site, and eager to please. If you want something, just ask. If you prefer to avoid unnecessary stairs (there is no lift, and a there stairs from the street to the entrance, so stairs cannot be completely avoided), tell them.”
