We were for the second time. Good situation. Easy to travel by bus or by U-linje. Good breakkfast. Friendly service. Nice small, old hotel-pension neat Ku'damm and fine shops. Good balance between price and quality.

Pros: - Close to Ku'damm (main shopping street), very central - Close to Conference Centre (5min by taxi) - Has metro station and bus stop directly in front of its door (and taxi rank) - No road noise - Decent price Cons: - Smells of smoke. Might have been a smokers hotel in the past but a lick of paint...

We stayed there for four days along with our 1.5 year-old son. Everything was great. The hotel is very clean and the staff very kind. It is centrally located just a minute away from public transport, supermarket, bakery, restaurant and a cafe. The view from the window was very nice. Only disadvantage that the restaurant is not open in the...

Pleasantly surprised when we arrived 3 hours before check in time as they had the room ready in 5 minutes. Room 603 on the top floor was great, large room with table & chairs bedside tables and dresser, nice lobby part with wardrobes and safe. The bathroom was huge and immacuate with a big corner bath and seperate shower in...

We escaped to Berlin for a long weekend and stayed at Kurfürstendamm, which is nearby the shopping area (a lot of design clothes and shoes) with the same name. This hotel is also very close to the U-bahn (tube) Adenauerplatz and to the bus stop where you can take the local bus to/from the airport. The room was large and...

A small quiet, clean and friendly hotel . The breakfast is good. The beds are not very comfortable (they are more soft than necessary). There is U-Bahn station in 30 metres and station for many buses. I stayed 10 days in the hotel without any problems.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast - a great stay. Great location - SUPER! Only problem was that some guests had been smoking and passage to room stank of stale smoke.

Stayed here with my partner and 8 other members of my family this October. Arrived at Schoenefeld Airport and after some confusion about what type of ticket to purchase to get to downtown Berlin, we got to the hotel without incident. It is a two minute walk from the Adenauerplatz U-Bahn station. The hotel was exceptionally clean, public areas and...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
