Friendly stuff and tasty breakfast but we got stuck in the elevator 3 times. Also the view from our room wasn't what we expected. An advantage is that it's near the public transport stations. If you want a cheap room just for sleep for 2...More
Myself and my friend spent four nights at this hotel (2nd July-5thJuly) celebrating his Birthday. Its relatively easy to find by public transport from the airport and has a 24hr reception (which was important as we arrived very late). The rooms are basic, clean and...More
The hotel has an elevator that starts half way up a set of stairs and lets people off mid-floor so you still have another half set of stairs to do (in other words, completely useless) which aptly sums up the hotel.

The hotel is in great location over looking the East Side Gallery and most of the things we planned to do where within walking distance. All of the staff are welcoming and helpful and the room was basic but clean. Great value for money.

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
