Very basic, but still nice hotel in a very good location, just next to Ostbahnhof where you can easily get everywhere in Berlin. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a restaurant downstairs serving breakfast, drinks and some late night snack. We didn't had breakfast there, but just within a short walk there is Kreuzberg where you can find plenty...

Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, the rooms do vary in size and as the main booking person it was quite annoying I was given the smaller room. The breakfast is lovely and I recommend anyone in the hotel to pay the extra for it, the waffles in the morning were really worth getting up for in the morning....

The hotel is conveniently located to the Ostbahnhof and East Side Gallery. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. The rooms are basic and clean. Travellers should bring their own shampoo! The air circulation was extremely poor. Reception staff are cordial but not proactively helpful. Breakfast is satisfactory. Overall, a decent hotel but they could up the game...

Nice hotel, near Ostbhanhof Railway Station. The room is a classical Ibis Hotel room, clean, functional and neat. Breakfast was very good, very diverse, tasty food. The WiFi was good. The staff is very polite and kind and ready to help. I personally like Ibis hotels, l find them very appropriate to my style of travel. It's a very good...

Good to reach from the Railway Station (just opposite the street) and 10 minutes walk to the Mercedes-Benz Arena or East Side Gallery. Nice staff, clean, silent, instead of located on a busy street. Great breakfast

Stayed here with a group of friend, 6 of us in total in 3 twin rooms, for 3 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable, particularly the waffle maker. We eat out each day whilst sightseeing but gravitated back to the bar each night. The wifi was very useful.

We had a quick one night stand after The Good the Bad and the Queen concert a few blocks away at the Postbahnhof. Quiet room with three beds, with a good view to the city. So it was great, an Ibis quality. Next time we'll stay here again. Recommended!

Booked this hotel in a last minute rush. About 2km from alexanderplatz. Relatively new, although shower drain was clogged. They have smoking area on each floor, which is convenient. Close to the train station.

My sister and I were travelling together and were sharing a room. We were given a room with 2 single beds, which we were very comfortable. The room had just enough room for the two of us and our bags. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to welcome us when we arrived before our...

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
