The wi fi was the only decent communication at this hotel. Reception staff were unhelpful to the point of being rude. Any information had to be pried out of them like pulling teeth. As for the room it had seen better days and the bathroom...More
My travel agent booked this hotel, not me.
This is an old-fashioned, out-dated, shabby hotel. I have stayed in better 2* hotels. My room was about as far as you can walk from the lift (ending in 27). It was like the sort of room...More
We stayed here for 3 nights, it was very easy to find with it being on the Ku'dam. The reception was always busy but very helpful when needed.
We booked a double room but it was just 2 singles pushed together. The room it's self...More
We stayed in this hotel for a week mid-September and are very pleased with our experience. The hotel is ideally located, near U-bahn and train station which were perfect for getting the train from airports, and getting the train for a trip to Potsdam!

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
