Really loved this hotel, it was clean, tidy and well presented. Rooms were large with good cooking facilities. Very close to subway and within walking distance of city sights. Would highly recommend.

I stayed for 5 nights, with my wife, on holiday. Ideally situated, the Uban is literally across the street, and only 6 min away fm AlexanderPlatz. Clean room, very quite, (we had a 2nd floor, river side view, room) Quite roomy, good mattress, the pillow is a bit of a problem with ALL german hotels (i suppose the Germans like...

I originally wrote a review from the room but it didn't go through so now I have to work off of a week old memory. I have no complaints. Its a nice hotel. The company seems to own the hotel Derag and Henriette so make sure you're at the right one. Take the UBahn to Markisches Museum and when you...

A very comfortable hotel close to the Maerkische Museum U-Bahn (Metro) station and a bus stop. The room was of adequate size and the bathroom was huge but had no shower curtains, which meant that the entire floor became wet when showering. It had a nice kitchen facility with a refrigerator two burners, a coffee pot and a hot water...

I cannot for the life of me understand why this hotel has received so many positive reviews. I am very disappointed in the Tripadvisor community for placing this hotel so highly in the Berlin rankings and it was off the back of this ranking that I made a booking. It turned out to be a big mistake. We arrived on...

Rooms: Large and comfortable with a kitchenette. Good beds. Service: The breakfast buffet was good and had most things you would expect for breakfast. Breakfast is served until 10 on week days and until 10:30 on week ends. The only minus I can think of is that there were no soft drinks for sale in the reception. Soft drinks could...

There are only two things I (we) regret: the first is that breakfast wasn't included (and was really expensive!); and the second is that the wifi was free for only 1 hour a day. Besides that, the hotel was really good.

This hotel is i located next to the undeground, only a few stop from most places of interest. Taxi from airport cost us around 22euros each way. Staff are very friendly and helpfull, rooms are clean maybe a little smaller than other 4 star hotels rooms i have stayed in in Germany. we got this hotel at a much lower...

We really liked this hotel. Ubahn station right across the street, on good line for sightseeing locations. I had a single room that, while not exactly large, was quite comfortable and well-appointed. Spotlessly clean. Double windows do keep out traffic noise. Staff very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices, but a little pricey. Ten-minute walk to Nikolai...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
