Went there for conference, and even though it's an enormous hotel, with a lot of guests, the rooms were very quiet. No sounds from lifts, doors ect.
The rooms rather big ( with a rather small TV!), and a nice size bath room, with tub,...More
Stayed at the Estrel for a conference. Whilst the conference facilities were excellent, the hotel side was pretty average and in need of a good refurb. I was upgraded to a suite, so my expectations were high, but disappointed. Whilst the room was clean &...More
Stayed at this hotel during a business trip.
Upon check-in the female front desk clerk who handled my reservation was extremely rude.
Room was simple but acceptable for a business hotel.
The hotel itself is really huge, with several towers and lots of rooms.
Considering the size of the hotel - being the largest hotel in Europe - I wasn't expecting much in terms of a personal experience... but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down
Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
