Lovely hotel, easy to find and in a safe location. Feels super safe and the reception staff are lovely. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with nice decor, quite businessy, and warm duvets. The whole room, especially the bathroom, was spotless and the shower was lovely and hot! There was a great selection at breakfast, the little patties are...

The hotel is very centrally located and close to Alexanderplatz. A 2 minute walk to the S-Bahn and bus stop for bus100 that is the one that covers almost all the central interesting places in Berlin. The room was very cosy. We had everything we needed. With my booking, I had requested a kettle and it was immediately granted. Room...

Given that we found the hotel by narrowing down to a preferred area on Google maps and then further narrowing our choice by price and the inclusion of breakfast, this proved to be a really good pick. On a quiet side-street location in the historic district, a short walk from Hackeschermarkt S-bahn station, it's a bright, clean, traditional hotel with...

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, close to shops, bars, restaurants, train station, Alexanderplatz, museums etc... and its breakfast is fantastic. It´s very easy to reach the hotel from Berlin Hbf or airport, getting off at Alexanderplatz.

Great hotel with clean spacious rooms. Very quiet so you're assured of a good nights sleep. Good breakfast selection. Very handy to the sights of Alexander Platz and city centre transport to all the sights and attractions. Great spot I would happily recommend for business or leisure.

Stayed 3 nights in December. Hotel is in a good spot very close to a train station giving easy and cheap access to the airport (€3.30 single ticket as opposed to €40 in a taxi). We were in a large room on the 2nd floor. The 'double' bed was in fact 2 singles pushed together with separate quilts. Very comfortable....

We stayed her from Monday-Friday and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are nice and big (room 601 executive room.) the staff speak very good English and can always answer your questions. The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast - especially the selection of cheeses! The only down side would be the bed sheets, we had to...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
