Great hotel for tourists - close to museums. Hotel restaurant was good. Not many good restaurants close and the train is quite a walk. WiFi was included in room price but getting online was a different story. We had to sit on the floor by the room door to get access or go out in the hall by the elevators....

The Radisson Blu is in the middle of Berlin and an excellent location for touring the old East and West Berlin, especially Museum ISland. The hotel is interesting with a huge aquarium rghtin the moddle and you can get an elevator ride in the middle of the tank. So if youlike glass elevators abd being underwater, you are in heaven....

The hotel is centrally located, around 10 minutes walk from Brandenburger Tor. It is a busy city hotel with congress centre. The lobby is very spectacular with a huge aquarium. Very friendly service at reception.

Great location, nice hotel but lacking in those personal touches. Party of 9 celebrating a 50th birthday the day after arrival, we arrived late at night after a 7 hour delay only to find some of the rooms on different floors (after sending an email prior to arrival requesting rooms situated together) but never acknowledged, this made it impossible to...

You need only a 5 minutes walk from the Radisson Blu Hotel Berlin to the next metro station. The lobby of the hotel with its large aquarium is very impressive. The breakfast buffet is good but some improvement would be nice. The room was o.k. Summary: a good and conveniently located city hotel

This hotel is best for business travelers and large groups. I stayed here for a week with my husband and found the level of service lacking relative to the Westin where I would normally stay. In particular, I had an extremely negative experience with the concierge. Since I didn't have cell reception in Europe, I asked him to confirm a...

This hotel was perfect in every way. You must choose a tank view room, the giant aquarium in the foyer is just beautiful. Rooms were very comfortable and a good size, staff all friendly and vey helpful. The hotel is also in a perfect position for almost all the main sites of Berlin. I will definitely return to this hotel!

I don't know the number of rooms at this hotel but it seems like a very large property. Kind of like a hotel in Vegas. The rooms are average so if you think you're checking into a 5 star, think again. But the location is excellent, which is great in Berlin. I also found the bar staff at the lobby...

We stayed 5 nights at the Radisson Blu and were very happy with our choice. It is at a great location and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would not call the rooms luxurious, but the value was excellent.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
