I loved this hotel as tourist and first time in Berlin. First the staff at the front desk are absolutely helpful and cheering, they are well acquainted as well with surrounding facilities and guide you to them. The hotel location is central and close to...More
A little run down but clean hotel. Good beds and nice breakefest buffet. Rooms differ in size but we had a decent size room. Location near zoologische garden station make it ideal to discover the city. Buy your ticket from bvg and travel freely on...More
The hotel is clean and has a range of really impressive rooms. The multiple occupancy rooms are huge, with many having walk in wardrobes and great views of the area, however some of the single rooms we saw were much smaller and less grandiose.
large hotel,bit tired,lovely and warm.
could have supplied tea/coffee making in the roomsnice stay and breakfast adequate, not outstanding, great position for shops.
bar service non existant, seems the bar maid had to work on reception also,so sat for over 15minutes before any one appeared,

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Hello, the room we stayed in didn't have a kettle I'm afraid and therefore no coffee and tea in the room. We took our own travel kettle. The hotel does have a lift from reception to the floors but there are steps you have to climb - about 20 to get to reception. The staff are excellent so please contact them about your needs and I hope that they will help you.

Hello good afternoon,
thanks for your inquiry, the best way to get from Schoenefeld Airport to our hotel is with Regional Train RE7 or RB14, just take the one that comes first, they usually go every 30 minutes and step out on "Zoologischer Garten", the hotel will be around 5 minutes within walking distance, the ride itself will take around 40 minutes, but its without changing.
Hope this has answered your question.
Have a nice time until then.
