First I was given the wrong room but the mistake has been fixed very quickly. The room was a 34m² suite for myself and was very nice. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower, the washing products offer were just amazing. Only thing I could say is about the staff who is sometimes cold at the reception.

Stayed there for a conference, booked 4 nights but upon arrival had to change to 3, they were very unreasonable and wanted to charge 90% of the 4th night. After long discussion reduced to 80%. Bad customer experience. Rooms are Ok, well equipped but my standard room was fairly small. Good bathroom and facilities. Breakfast was extremely busy, difficult to... More

This hotel is situated well for getting around Berlin-plenty of public transport practically on the doorstep. Hotel reception is lovely and the staff nice. Our room was very good. Nicely decorated in a modern contemporary style with a separate shower and bath and lovely White Company toiletries. Only down side was the Spa. the jacuzzi is part of the pool... More

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel we had a lovely nice room, it was quiet and is in a good area for shops and restaurants. The hotel is traditional and quite upmarket, it's not a funky boutique hotel. We made the error of using the Gin bar there without fully checking the prices which was a bit more... More

We arrived on Saturday morning and given the key to our room (916). The room was large, two single beds adjoined with two single duvets. Bathroom's was a good size with a separate shower and bath tub. There was also tea making facilities, which is always useful! The location is fantastic - it's right next to the zoo (get the... More

This hotel is billed as 5 star, it is not. Its frontage is the fascia of Europe which is a very downmarket mall. We booked through Expedia, and our room was miniscule and was only really fit for a single, in fact there was only a single mug. When we complained to the front desk a very rude man told... More

We really liked the pool. You can probably enjoy it all to yourself by going in late evening hours. The direct elevator to the pool and spa and long working hours are very pleasing for tourists that spend most of the day touring the city. The lo the Zoo train station just a few minutes walk away, which is great... More

I stayed at the Hotel Palace for 3 nights. My room was a business deluxe. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The bed was actually amazingly comfortable. The food and service in the restaurant and bar of the hotel is fantastic. The location was great as it was just a few minutes walk to the city centre and shopping... More

There aren't many things these days one truly expects from a hotel that has pretty decent reviews but an internet and television that works are among those few. It was unbelievable that immediately after checking in for a three night stay where I called the front desk that the TV did wasn't working, that the problem was not resolved. Since... More

Stayed her for 4 nights on long weekend break. Room and bed were cozy and comfy. Located 45min walk from main attarctions but has nearby links with both bus and train lines. Didn't have breakfast here as it was very expensive (€25.00 pp). No small shop or such nearby which was a minor inconvenience. Overall great experience.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
