Stayed in two rooms with the family, breakfast included. Meal was pretty good and the staff was helpful with directions to tourist attractions. Conveniently located within a couple of blocks of the U-Bahn line. Entrance does have an elevator, but it may be a little confusing as the ground entrance is between floors; you go downstairs to check in, then...

Stayed here on business, was within the company allowance: Positives: Clean, good breakfast - plenty of choice and abundance, free water and coffee until 10:00 p.m, comfortable bed, friendly staff at front desk, good command of English (at front desk), no noise, good internet. Negatives: No chair in room, bath mat for shower but door did not clear it so...

A very nice hotel perfectly located in the Berlin Mitte (center). Very nice service, good breakfast in Ibis standard. Small but still very comfortable rooms for short stay. Very nice and helpful reception.

We stayed here for 7 nights in early September and found this hotel to be reasonably priced for Berlin. Hotels are generally quite pricey. Our room, no 608 was very quiet, bright with late afternoon sunshine and nicely furnished. The bed was large and very comfy and the room had a large flatscreen tv. The bathroom with its unusual configuration...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was nothing special and too small to be honest. What I didn't like at all was the bathroom. First of all there's no bathroom. There's only one small "room" for the toilet. The sink it's next to the bed. The shower is next to the bed as well and the door is...

The hotel has a very nice interior design that perfectly matches Berlin surroundings with its graffiti drawings and finishing. Breakfast is included in the room price and free WIFI in the room and everywhere in the hotel. The Hotel is perfectly located at the intersection of 3 main streets and exactly above a metro station which allows you to go...

An ordinary Ibis Hotel..not stylish like other Ibis styles. Rooms are too small than normal Ibis. Good for a single traveler. Location is good ,walking distance to alexanderplatz. Breakfast is same Ibis , ok. Staffs are better.......... Stayed in 15th September 2016 for two nights.

We stayed here in August. The hotel was right in the centre of the mitte district and our room, being on a corner wrapped around two main streets, so we had a view of all that was on offer. The breakfast room was chaos in the mornings, due to there only being one staff member clearing tables, there was never anywhere...

When visiting Berlin we always like to stay in the vicinity of Alexanderplatz for the excellent transport links the station provides to all areas of the city and beyond. The Ibis Berlin Mitte is located just 10 minutes walk from the train station, a simple stroll straight up Karl-Liebknecht Straße or you can jump on the M2 tram for 2/3...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
