The hotel is not great. It's old, and service is mediocre. Breakfast was low quality and felt like airport lounge. Plenty of other quality options in the area so simply no need to stay here unless you have to.

Ideal location walking distance from KeDeWe department store and the Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten station. The concierge was top notch. The room was beautiful with a superb bed (very comfortable) and well stocked bathroom. The building is an old-world classical building of Old Europe. I didn't use the pool although it looked lovely. The gym was small, too small for a...

Friendly and speedy check-in after dropping bags at entrance. Room was modern, very quiet and spacious enough. Bags were waiting for me when I arrived at my room. Amenities far outstripped what I required with a good-sized desk facing the Westward window. The bed and bedding were true luxury. Concierge Mark Schnabel was exceptionally helpful and ladies serving breakfast Mery...

A fantastic hotel (very famous classic style of hotel). The hotel staff were great when we first arrived. The rooms are great very spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The mini fridge was fully stocked and the bathroom had all the extra toiletries we needed/forgot to bring with us. The only issue with the room we saw was there...

The hotel is located in an excellent position. The rooms should be renovated as they are not as expected ( old stained moquette, old fashioned bathroom). The wellness centre is small but comfortable even if I have to complain about the fact that there were children - very little children inside the sauna , going in and out . The...

it was a wonderful stay for 3 days including the weekend in Berlin and it came out to be a nice choice. The hotel is grand and located on a the main street kurfurstendamm where you would find the metro and bus halts too. Room was quite despite having a proximity to the busiest street in Berlin. Loved the mirrors...

The hotel is very impressive and in a very nice part of Berlin located near some very nice shops. The room I stayed in was a Junior suite. the bed had a Tempur and it is the most comfortable thing that I have ever slept in! Some things that I did not like about the room was that the shower...

From the day we checked in, the reception (especially Mr Froses!) and concierge staff were welcoming and interested in making our stay in Berlin one to remember. Each day we were guided with maps and suggestions to make the most of seeing one beautiful city. Restaurant recommendations were fabulous but so was the hotel's Bristol Bar and restaurant Reinhard's. Julia...

This hotel is a really lovely place, very comfortable and clean. The front of house and waiting staff are rude and not interested, the housekeeping staff and one of the waiters at breakfast on Saturday were lovely, perhaps they should give customer service lessons to the others!!!!!

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
