The Rooms are quite clean, there is also a hair dryer and towels in every room which is pretty nice. However, the breakfast seems to be quite chaotic in some points. There is also for example this 'sky bar' (so to say) which is the worst bar i have ever seen.. But nevertheless the staff seems to be quite friendly...

I stayed in January when there was snow on the ground, however at all times the streets from the hotel/hostel to the railway station were kept clear, including in the early hours of the morning. Despite being well over 30 I found the hotel convenient for the my purposes i.e. entering and leaving by train plus site-seeing. I have to...

Breakfast was simple and the plates and mugs were always dirty, really disgusting to grab a plate and feel someone else's yogurt on your fingers. The bartender at the bar was a really nice guy, don't remember his name but was from El Salvador (there's probably just one).

The hostel is located about 800m i.e around 5 minutes walk from the Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Had booked a private twin sharing room and it was quite spacious. Both the room and the bathroom was well maintained. With the hostel close to the Hauptbahnhof, it is very convenient to travel to any place including the airport in Berlin. The place as...

If you are over 20 years old DO NOT GO. Absolute disorganization in the reception, descontrol in the reservations, disorder in the hour of breakfast. The area is scary, I do not advise going out alone to go to the station, always go two people, to reach the hostel the street does not have electricity in the street. I stayed...

Great accommodation, in a walking distance from main train station. We had double bed room. Room was big enough, clean, with all you need. We arrived late and checked out early so we did not try the breakfast. As it is hotel/hostel it is very lively place, which might cause some noise. And indeed it was, I was awaken twice...

We stayed here in September and we were pretty happy with the location. Close to the train station (about 10 minute walk) and easy to travel around from there, it suited us well. We got a private room in the hostel which was basic but had everything we needed. We paid for breakfast both days but it almost seemed like...

The hostel was okay. I could check in late at around 11 pm. The room was okay in terms of bed and pillows. The building is not very new, but it is a cheap option in Berlin and its very close to the train station (walking distance).

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
