I would recomend staying here if visiting berlin. We had two of the two bedded rooms so not dorms and price very good. Reasturant and bar good (altho open limited time) friendly staff clean and comftable.
Only average rating as the bedroom really let everything else down. The positives are the staff were very friendly and efficient. The location is pretty good close to train station and approximately 15 min to center of city as long as get train not tram....More
As soon as you walk in the front door you are bombarded by an awful stench of cigarettes and general uncleanliness. The same when we got into our room. The hostel does have a nice appearance and the restaurant/bar was really good, however wasn't impressed...More
The rooms themselves were fairly basic, the lobby was fairly cool. The main reason for such an average rating was the shower was either scorching hot or freezing cold and the water pressure was more like a drizzly day which when you’re travelling in the...More

When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
