What a great hotel, wonderful staff on reception and up on the 7th floor. Comfortable big bed, spacious room and an absolutely fantastic shower, loved the slippers. Breakfast time was made special by the lovely staff and the excellent food, the omelette and pancakes were great and being able to nip up anytime day or night was really handy. I'd...

This was such a great hotel, I wish we had been able to stay longer than our 4 fantastic nights here. Breakfast was delicious, free snacks available all day/any time. Lovely, well appointed room (fantastic shower pressure!) Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is in such a super area. We can't wait to go back!

Casa camper takes care of every single detail; comfort, design, clean. It is just one of the best hotels I have ever been. Moreover, you have free food and drinks 24/7, included in the price. The location is only 5 min walking from Alexandar Platz. If you go to Berlin, this is a perfect choice.

First of all, the location is excellent, as it is right next to the trendy Rozenthaler Platz, filled with cool restaurants and bars, and the train station. I checked in quite late, and met a very friendly and informative receptionist, Antonio, who helped me check in smoothly and gave me some god tips about the area. My room was large,...

Great base to explore Berlin from. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast room on the top floor has a great view over Berlin's roof tops and it's nice to be able to go up and have drinks while the sun is setting.

Modern, sparse hotel but very comfortable, clean room, great location, and terrific service. The free breakfasts and all-day snacking on 7th floor are a big bonus, too. Prior to my visit I had a bunch of questions, which they answered very efficiently and thoughtfully via a lengthy email correspondence. Top notch all-round.

The last time I was in East Berlin was in 1966 via Check Point Charlie. This visit was a bit different! Casa Camper was the PERFECT place for me to stay for my solo visit. I loved everything....my room, hotel staff, the top floor room for breakfast and downtime. It was exactly what I wanted. Desk staff was very helpful...

I can't fault this hotel in any way. The 24/7 complimentary buffet was fantastic to come back to after exploring the city and to wake up to for breakfast. The room was large and comfortable, the bed was great. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Berlin. Other hotels should come take a look in order to get...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
