Comfortable hotel with a great location. Quite small rooms, but functional and as expected. Perfectly located for a weekend trip, with a great selection of restaurants, bars and shopping right outside the doorstep.

A quiet, trendy neighborhood hosts this good value hotel. Room was small but adequate and well designed, with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Overall a nice experience, and would return with pleasure.

The location couldn't be better, close enough to Museum Island and main points of interest for an easy walk, and surrounded by beautiful streets with restaurants and coffee places in every corner. Would absolutely go back there when in Berlin again.

I stayed in 6 hotels across Europe on my latest trip and this was the only one I had a problem with. This hotel took a $500 so called 'reservation fee' for a prepaid room for 4 nights without my knowledge or even mentioning the fact. When brought to their attention hotel staff had no idea why it was taken...

The hotel is well situated for sightseeing. The lounge and main rooms are airy .The beds were very comfortable and the room quiet. However, the room was small, very badly designed and with little furniture. The hand basin was in the bedroom which we didn't like. The cupboards were too high to use and the bedside light switches were difficult...

Stayed here for a second leg of our week long trip. This area is full to the brim of bars, restaurants and places to go. Well connected by public transport, good WiFi and a lovely roof top bar. Nice hotel with modern but small rooms. Too bad you cannot diner or lunch in the hotel and that there's no pool but it has a nice rooftop/terras with expensive cocktails :D. Good service and location. A bit noisy outside due to maintance in the street.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
