Just returned from the Leonardo, had a splendid 3 night weekend here on a leisure break with my wife.Being our first time in Berlin (And Germany) we were a bit blind on arrival at the airport. We caught the train to Charlottenburg which was about 45 minutes, this was where we struggled a bit, the guy at the station told...

Great stay at a clean, modern, basic hotel. Free water, boiler, and tea/coffee in the room are a nice touch. Basic amenities, but very functional, if small rooms. Great location in Charlottenburg just next to the metro, very easy access to most of the city. Breakfast was good with ample selections.

Breakfast is a superb buffet with a very wide choice: 7 or 8 types of muesli; dried fruits; bacon; eggs; fresh fruit with yoghurt; various delicious breads; cold...

Perfectly located for the underground and in a reasonably priced area. Found 2 great little bars very close by for our friend's 50th birthday celebrations and a great time was had by all. Hotel was clean and comfortable and well serviced. Restaurant was excellent and good value. Will definitely stay there again.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
