When visiting Rothenburg, be sure to stay within the walled city because it truly adds to your overall experience. Even though this medieval village is small, the location of the Tilman Riemenschneider can't be beat. It's right on a main streetm, just beyond one of the inner gates, and only a three minute walk to the town square. The room...

I stayed this hotel with friend in one of tour actually few years ago. There were soooo cute furnitures. Only that, for girls be happy:) This building looks also with traditional beautiful decorations, I took a lot of pictures. Location is also good. But accually Rothenburg is really small city, so I think doesn't matter where it is. One thing,...

The hotel is located in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauberg, just a few steps from the marktplatz. While this is a very old hotel, the rooms have been renovated with modern bathrooms. Decor exudes old world charm, with antique furniture, wooden carvings and fine paintings. We travelled as a family and had an adjoining room which shared a...

The Hotel Tilman is cute and very Bavarian, and is probably ideal for tourists wanting a short stay (a few nights) in a hotel that epitomizes the Rothenburg experience, especially during the Christmas period. However a few things might bother the more demanding traveller; the wireless Internet access didn't work at all during our stay, and don't expect a mini...

Stayed one night here, very clean and friendly. Very short walk to the Marktplatz shops and restaurants. The hotel is very old, but our room was traditional with a modern bathroom. The very friendly staff helped with luggage and parking our car. I would definitely stay here again.

Im really not sure how to review this hotel.... I can't get over the pink sheets! This was a very old hotel. All of the people working there were very nice. Did I mention this is a very old hotel. Maybe all of them are in this area I'm not sure.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on our way through Germany. The welcome was warm, helpful and casual; they didn't ask us to fill in any forms or ask for our passports, but they immediately came to help with bags, car parking, etc. (The garage - 9 euros per day - is quite a hike from the hotel,...

We planned a last minute trip to Rothenburg. We searched for rooms located on the Marktplatz but could not find any. We booked rooms at the Tilman for two nights. The hotel is about a 2 minute walk from the Marktplatz as is away from the noise of the town square. We we arrived, we were greated by the front...

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. On arrival we were greeted by a young receptionist not interested in helping us with our luggage, our room was dull & lightless, we were then shown to another room, lugging our suitcases up another flight of stairs. Because we did not want a duvet on the bed because it...

We would stay here again. Stayed in a quad room with beautiful furnishings and adorable color scheme. Our Room was spacious, very tastefully furnished, and decorated. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast is simple. Staff was very helpful. Parking is a walk away thus inconvenient but didn't need car during our stay since location is central.
