We had a room with bath for 59 euro including breakfast. The room was clean, the bed comfy and the bathroom fine. I loved crawling under the duvet at night. The hotel is in an old historic building and the common rooms are beautifully furnished with antiques and paintings. The location was great, inside the wall of Rothenburg. The owner...

We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip along the Romantic Road in Bavaria, Germany. We stayed in 2 ensuite rooms as we were travelling with extended family. The bathrooms were serviceble but basic. The furntiture in the rooms was also basic. Some of the furniture looked to be antique, some of it just old. Everything, including bathrooms were...

This was a recommendation from the Rick Steves' guidebook. I'm glad I found it! The pension is very close to the main attractions in beautiful Rothenburg. Our room was spacious and looked out on the street, but even with the windows open it was quiet at night. We were on the top floor, so we had to climb a handful...

I saw so many good comments about this hotel and so I selected that one. However, it turned out to be a bit disappointment. The hotel owner Norry Raidel is not friendly at all. The guesthouse did not provide me with a soap. When I asked him whether you have a soap, because I assume each hotel or guest room...

We wanted to find a place to stay within the Rothenburg walls that could accommodate our family of four - and one that wouldn't be outrageously expensive. Guesthouse Raidel was a perfect fit. Our quad room was two rooms connected by a door. One bedroom had a shower and ensuite bathroom - the other bedroom had only the sink and...

The Hotel has charm and basic comfort at a low price. Owner was very nice. I would stay there again.

If you love charming European accommodation, this place is for you. Pros: excellent location, adorable innkeeper, charming rooms, gorgeous old house, yummy Euro-breakfast (meats, cheeses, bread), incredible value Cons: the bathrooms are shared, and the shower is on the 3rd floor. If you need "American" accommodation w/ensuite bath, this is not for you. On a chilly night, the radiator was...

Cute and charming, like the town its in. But don't expect American standards. Shared a bathroom and shower which didn't bother me but may bother some. Room was beautiful, bed was comfy. Owner is a very nice man and speaks English well. Breakfast was delicious.

Our stay in Rothenburg had a nice touch by staying in this bed and breakfast. Every morning we were greeted and served breakfast by a very friendly and polite gentleman, which we enjoyed very much. The old style of the house gave a neat feel to the whole stay. Our room was fairly large by Euro standards, and included toilet...

Guesthouse Raidel is owned by a very sweet man who doesn't speak a lot of English, but enough! He preps a great breakfast and is there for all your needs! His home is 500 years old and is incredible! Clean, but no internet. We reserved a 2 person room and somehow our reservation got lost, but the owner was incredibly...
