As we drove through the arch of the medieval walled city of Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber we were captivated by the enchanting scene that lay before our eyes. The fanciful town seemed orchestrated, as if a land of Disney's Epcot. But no, it is real, filled with wild-eyed storytellers, charming innkeepers, fascinating shopkeepers, and you. You, the guest of the...

A quaint old hotel. Clean comfortable room. No fan or AC but with the windows open it was pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was typical European but with 3 different muscli's and s great aray of meats and cheeses there is something for everyone with good coffee and expresso at a great price. If you love a 500 year old...

Two summers ago, my family and I were in a real bind. Another Inn in Rothenburg misrepresented itself on the Web so that when we arrived we were dumbfounded that what we booked was not what we bought. Thankfully we could walk away without losing anything except our hearing because of a really nasty innkeeper. Then we found ourselves in...

Great view from the breakfast area! They are so careful that they even decorate the boiled eggs! Nice room and all common area decoration fit the medieval environment of the city. If you are going to the romantic rote, worth stay a couple of nights there.

Love the location and the view of this hotel. Would give it a 5 star rating if the rooms were not in need of updates. We were there 3 times and always will go back. The breakfast room has a view which is wonderful and decorated beautifully with crystal chandeliers and pretty windows overlooking the valley. Breakfast buffet is amazing...

Perfect setting in the heart of the town, allowing easy walking access to center and all the shops and restaurants. Dated rooms and furniture was still appealing. Breakfast was in the airy, well lighted room looking out over the valley. It was lovely and complete, and included champagne!

Family of three booked a room in August. Located in the heart of Rothenburg the location could not be more picturesque. Lobby was nice with friendly reception. The rooms themselves are very spacious (especially given the location) and decorated with nice furniture and art. Bathroom was also very spacious but shower head was a bit of a challenge, slipping down...

The Hotel is in the center of Rothenburg. The room was very musty, and the bed was dated. This hotel needs to update without losing the old world charm. Some of the staff were very friendly, and others were rude. The breakfast was okay.Luckily it was an overnight stay.Average hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, and absolutely loved our time! First of all, the location is literally right in the center of the historic town, just by that cute yellow house you see in all the pictures of Rothenberg. The hotel itself is beautiful and has lots of character. Our room and bathroom were very spacious....

Our room was spacious for three people. The bathroom contained a jetted bathtub plus a bidet, which my kids (15-23) have never experienced before. Now they want one at home. Breakfast is a variety of choices between ham, salami, cheese, cereals, fruits, juices, tea and water. The breakfast room overlooks the valley and the Tauber River. We ended up staying...
