My family of 3 (11 year old son) stayed here for 1 night in the Hiltepold von schwangau room. The location of the hotel is less than a 5 minute drive to the castles, has a complimentary parking lot, easy to find, and is walking distance to the old town section (right across the street). Check in was efficient and...

This hotel is gorgeous! The bavarian theme running through the hotel and its pristine cleanliness really helped make our stay a enjoyable one. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included hot food. The only negative was the bed which was on the small side but we still slept well. Overall a really good base for visiting the castles.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while we visited the castles. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was modern. The hotel is about 200m from the station, so it was a easy walk. Across the road is the entrance to the old town which is a must see, it's like stepping into a story book...

This small hotel was easy to find. Check in was fast and easy. Parking was a bit cramped but it worked out fine. Our room was really spacious and clean--a large double room, sofa plus an alcove single bed. There was also a separate area with another single bed! For a family with two kids this was great. We walked...

We had a lovely one night stay in this traditional hotel. Wonderfull service, great suggestions for dinner, good advice to visit the Schloss and walking distance to the old town. Roomy accomodations and bathrooms, lovely decorated. Of the two 4 star hotels we stayed in on this trip in Germany, this ons stands out!

My grown up family took two rooms for 6 nights at the end of July. The hotel is in a good position for exploring the town and surrounding area, with all reception staff proving to be extremely helpful at all times. The breakfast was excellent, with cold continental as well as German sausage, scrambled egg and Bacon. We had two...

This is a great hotel in a really great little town. Good sized rooms with really good beds and pillows, great bathrooms, easy parking and possibly the best breakfast we experienced in a trip which featured great food. We stayed in a superior room which included a large walk in wardrobe which really is a benefit when on an extended...

Our family of five had two rooms at the hotel. Both were very large and comfortable with deluxe bedding and modern baths. The hotel is beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings. I even took pictures of the hallways and staircases it was so pretty! The breakfast room was my favorite. A yellow, cheery room with adorable furnishings and the most delicious...

Right on the edge of town and a mere 50 metres from the local town square, this hotel is a real family affair. You feel welcome and relaxed as soon as you arrive and then they allow you to enjoy your time as you wish. As tourist guides they are great and even gave us a few lessens in German....

It was the first night ever in Europe for our son and his family. After picking them up in Munich, we started on a three week tour with our first stop being Fussen. Needless to say, traveling with a 9 year old, they were tired and weary after the long flight. And I was distressed because my luggage was lost...
