When I think of our trip to Germany, the highlight of our trip was visiting Fussen and staying at the Villa Toscana. This lovely establishment was nestled in the foothills of the Alps, quiet and secluded, but walking distance from downtown Fussen. The rooms were large (especially for European standards) and gorgeous. A beautiful four post bed lying underneath a...

We stayed there for one night before doing the castle tour. We found the accomodations to be quite nice and a bit understated. It was located approximately ten minutes from the castle launch area and within a ten minute walk into town. The breakfast was very good and varied. The only complaint was that the restaurant they recommended in town...

We stayed for two nights. Hotel is off the beaten path which we loved but only a nice 10 minute walk to Old Town. Hotel was exquisite. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast with eggs, meats, cheeses, coffee, juice, breads, etc. Very close drive to castles. Would stay again in a heart beat.

A beautiful hotel quite close from the town center. The rooms are nice and the views are great. Great breakfast too! It was raining when we visited, and probably due to that the wi-fi was not working. But apart from this, it was a good stay.

We had a "family room" which was really just a room with double bed and a roll away bed. A little disappointing for the price. We had no view of castle from room as expected. Bathroom was clean but the shower head was awkwardly placed right above the drain. You had to almost stand on the plug with almost no...

We stayed at Villa Toscana when we were in town to visit the castles. The hotel itself was just lovely. We had a large, modern room with a large bathroom. The breakfast was very good and we were able to sit on the balcony of the breakfast room with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff was exceptional and...

We had two nice rooms, one on the top floor and one on the first floor. The room on the first floor had a great private balcony! The room on the top floor had a perfect view of the Füssen Schlöss. It was also within a kilometer of the town center, but just far enough away to be very quiet....
