When we pulled up to the hotel, we couldn't believe how picturesque it looked. It faces a sweet park, and is a 10 minute walk from downtown Fussen. We had wonderful service both in the restaurant and with the gasthaus staff. Breakfast is incredible, and sitting on the patio enjoying a coffee is not to be missed. Our room faced...

It was fun driving to this hotel. You have to drive through a chasm in the rocks to get to it. We had to hurry to get there because we were arriving on a German holiday (Pfingsten/Pentacost) and there was going to be no one manning the front desk after 1 p.m. We got there in time to get our...

The Parkhotel is a small hotel located right at the park just a ten minute walk from the center of Fussen. It is not a luxury accommodation but rather a comfortable place with nice sized rooms and free parking. There is a pleasant dining room for breakfast with a view of the park and plenty of outdoor seating....though it was...

This hotel is very well located only a 10 min walk into the old town in Fussen. The staff are friendly and the hotel is spacious and clean. The decor has old school 1950-60s furnishing and a quirky outside garden. Highlights included free use of spa, outdoor hot tub, and sauna. There are a lot of choices for breakfast similar to...

This charming hotel is on the end of a narrow street across from a quiet park in a lovely area of Barvaria. The hotel is clean and well kept, though not luxurious. We had a lovely room with a balcony that overlooked the park and breakfast is a fantastic buffet of pastries, deli meats, cereals, etc. The center of town...

I was reluctant when we arrived, the hotel was reminiscent of the 1950's. Our room was very clean, but had a woody smoke scent. The place grew comfortable, like an old sweater. The day we arrived it rained and rained and we opted to eat at the hotel. A smart decision, the kitchen does splendid work ( we had four...

This beautiful property is a very pretty ten minute walk into the centre of Fussen. We had a lovely room with a balcony which overlooked a pretty garden and even though it rained quite heavily during our stay we were still able to sit on our balcony and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast is fantastic and we ate two delicious...

This hotel was excellent in every way except for the one young woman who was in charge in the afternoons and evenings. She was incredibly rude and unpleasant. Have not figured that out yet. But our room, #65, was perfect for us - 2 rooms, spacious, good shower, good view, good wi-fi, excellent breakfast buffet, good restaurant for evening meals...

Our twin room was a good size with a table and chairs and a small balcony. it is a 10-15 minute walk into town along undulating paths. The walk is pleasant and different routes can be explored into town. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant in the evening was simple and adequate. However our greatest difficulty was our...

This hotel is a real find. It is located in Bad Faulenbach which is less than a 10 minute walk from Fussen town centre. It is in a quiet location, minutes away from mountain lakes. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked a double room, but what we had was a large double bed, a sitting room...

“Tips: 1. If you arrive by train or bus, consider a taxi unless you are confident about how to get there. (Only 10-15 minutes once you know the way). 2. Beware of following the hotel sighs from the station as they are designed for vehicles, not pedestrians. 3. Consensus was it probably isn't worth the extra for a room with a better view.”
