We loved staying here. The place is absolutely charming, from the lobby to the breakfast area to the rooms. The owners clearly have well-lived lives, as pictures and artifacts from their adventures all over the walls and rooms make you feel as if you are visiting the home of especially adventurous grandparents. The rooms have four poster beds and are...

Great hotel full of character. 4-poster bed and hand painted wooden furniture in the large room. Good breakfast in a very attractive dining room full of historic items. Owners English speaking, very friendly and helpful. Splendid location just inside the walls of the old town. Easy to find by car and parking available outside (restricted), but safe car parks nearby....

We spent our first night in Germany in this wonderful traditional hotel. The room had 2 separate rooms for our daughters and was extremely spacious. Dinkelsbühl is an incredibly beautiful town and you need to stay somewhere like this to get the real feel of the old town. The breakfast which was included was also an excellent traditional spread and...

Unfortunately there was some construction going on outside in the morning which woke us up but I assume that is temporary. The breakfast had less choices that some...

This is a belated review from September, but Hotel Dinkelsbuhler is well worth commenting on. We stayed in the room with the four poster bed which was very comfortable. Some decoration was a bit dated but this did not detract from its overall charm. The bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the quaint breakfast room...

A hotel and working art studio - quite unusual. But it's lovely, and is set in one of the most beautiful towns in the world. Located just inside the medieval town walls right near one of the gates. Nice room, really good breakfast, very nice people. Loads of good restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Parking is a bit tricky...
