Positive first: parking, breakfast, location Issues: room, terrible bed, pillows, small, in the 5th floor, icy- heating was not enough to warm up the room... The sink was clogged and we had to brush our theet in the shower. Considering it costs 117 euros per night you can get better át the same rate in other hotels in the neighbourhood.

The rooom was surprisingly big and light-filled for a small hotel. Convenient for those driving the Romantic Road, as they provide secure on-site parking. Great restaurant and very friendly staff.

I have to say that I agree with a couple of other posts in so much that the rooms appear to be cool with the windows open but when you close them the ceiling fan doesn't cool the room at all. This means you have a choice, don't sleep because you are hot or don't sleep because the noise from...

I'm afraid that we couldn't find anything romantic about this hotel at all, despite the name. Cramped downstairs quarters, functional decor there and in our rooms - nothing warming or out of the ordinary. It wasn't the hotel's fault that we stayed in a heat wave, but the ceiling fan was wholly inadequate, and the room sweltering. Fortunately, it wasn't...

This is a very comfortable hotel that is conveniently located just inside the Augsburg old city walls. It has excellent off-street parking next to the hotel and a very helpful reception to help you organize transfers etc. Bettina at reception made us feel very welcome and helpfully provided walking maps, recommend restaurants, etc. The restaurant serves delicious Bavarian food -...

A very nice hotel with quaint rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location for walking to downtown. Good breakfast. Recommend that you not get a room that faces the trolley track since it can be loud. Restaurant is excellent.

Room was small, and the interior was rather dreary. The TV was so very small! Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The free wifi was useful.

I was staying in Augsborger Hof Hotel for 3 nights in July and had chosen this hotel because of good reviews. I can confirm that the rooms have ok size, very clean and good bathroom. The bed is a little low; if you have back-issue this might cause you a problem. The breakfast is basic but good. There is only...

Comfortable, very clean room, with nice sized bathroom and excellent (ie powerful) shower. The staff couldn't really be better, and this was every one that we had dealings with, be they on reception or at breakfast. The location isn't totally central (2 or so trams stops from the absolute centre), but this is not a concern as walking around here...
